A Smoky Twist on a Classic Favorite
These Smokin’ Ts Deviled Eggs take the traditional picnic staple and kick it up a notch with the naturally smoked flavor of Smokin’ Ts Original (or With a Kick for a spicier version). Creamy, tangy, and just a little bold, these are sure to disappear fast at any gathering.
🧾 Ingredients:
- 6 large eggs
- 3 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tsp yellow mustard
- 1½ tsp Smokin’ Ts Original or With a Kick
- ½ tsp white vinegar (optional for extra tang)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Paprika, for garnish
- Chopped chives or green onions (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions:
- Hard boil the eggs:
Place eggs in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then cover and turn off the heat. Let sit for 10–12 minutes. Transfer to an ice bath and cool completely. - Peel and halve:
Peel the eggs, then slice in half lengthwise. Carefully scoop the yolks into a small bowl and set whites aside. - Make the filling:
Mash the yolks with mayo, mustard, Smokin’ Ts, vinegar, salt, and pepper until smooth and creamy. - Fill the eggs:
Spoon or pipe the mixture back into the egg white halves. Dust with paprika and garnish with chives if using. - Chill and serve:
Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving for best flavor.
🔥 Why It Works:
The smokiness of Smokin’ Ts perfectly balances the rich egg yolk and creamy mayo base. It adds depth and a pop of flavor without overpowering, making these deviled eggs uniquely addictive.
🥚 Variations to Try:
- Add finely chopped pickles or relish
- Top with crispy bacon bits
- Swap mayo for Greek yogurt for a tangier version
