Juicy. Smoky. Melty. Your New Favorite Burger.
Tired of bland burgers? This Smokin’ Ts Cheeseburger packs bold, naturally smoked flavor right into the patty. With melty Wisconsin cheddar, sweet onions, mushrooms, and a generous splash of Smokin’ Ts Original (or With a Kick, if you’re feeling spicy), this burger delivers serious gourmet vibes—no grillmaster degree required.
🧾 Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 oz Smokin’ Ts Original or With a Kick
- ½ small to medium sweet onion, finely diced
- 1 button mushroom, finely diced
- 4 oz Wisconsin cheddar cheese, diced
- 8 slices Wisconsin cheddar cheese (for topping)
- 1 tsp minced garlic (or ¼ tsp garlic powder)
- ½ tsp salt
- ¼ tsp pepper
- Burger buns and your favorite toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc.)
👩🍳 Instructions:
- Prep the mix-ins:
Finely dice the onion, mushroom, and cheddar (if using block cheese). - Mix the patties:
In a large bowl, combine ground beef, diced onion, mushroom, cheddar, garlic, salt, pepper, and Smokin’ Ts sauce. Mix just until combined—don’t overwork it. - Shape the patties:
Form into 4 large burger patties or 6 smaller ones. Press a slight indent into the center of each patty to help them cook evenly. - Cook the burgers:
Grill or pan-fry over medium-high heat for 3–4 minutes per side, or until the internal temp hits 160°F. In the last minute of cooking, top with a slice of cheddar and cover loosely to melt. - Build the burgers:
Toast the buns and layer with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles. Add your cheesy Smokin’ Ts patty, then drizzle with a little extra sauce for good measure.
🔥 Why It Works:
Smokin’ Ts sauce doesn’t just sit on top—it’s built right into the burger. This means every bite is juicy, smoky, and cheesy. The onion and mushroom add moisture and umami, while the cheese melts into the patty for a gooey interior surprise.
