- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
- Prepare the Ribs: Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and trim any excess fat. Pat the ribs dry with paper towels.
- Make the Marinade: In a bowl, mix together molasses, apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
- Marinate the Ribs: Coat the ribs generously with the marinade, cover, and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight for best results.
- Preheat the Smoker: Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C) and add hickory wood chips according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Smoke the Ribs: Place the ribs in the smoker and cook for about 3 hours, maintaining a consistent temperature. Baste the ribs with the marinade every hour.
- Finish Cooking: After 3 hours, wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and return them to the smoker for an additional hour to tenderize.
- Serve: Remove the ribs from the smoker, let them rest for a few minutes, then slice and serve with extra sauce on the side.
